Furthering our commitment towards security and compliance

PowerDMARC email authentication SaaS platform is SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 Certified. The Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Certification corroborates our prolonged commitment towards protecting client information, and never holding back when it comes to data security that is at par with industry standards.

The SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 certifications verify that:

1

We take the privacy of your data very seriously

2

We make no compromises while maintaining and monitoring our internal security systems at regular intervals

3

Our platform’s processing integrity is maintained at every step to provide all-round protection to your information

4

Our platform’s processes and controls were monitored closely by an independent auditing authority over a span of 6 whole months to affirm that compliance was maintained with utmost sincerity throughout

What is the SOC 2 Certification?

SOC 2 is a well-known and widely acknowledged security auditing standard, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA). Businesses that are accredited with the SOC 2 certification are thoroughly assessed based on the security controls and procedures practiced within the organization.

The SOC 2 independent audit affirmed that PowerDMARC’s controls and processes align with AICPA Trust Service Criteria.

SOC 2 Type 2

What does this mean for our company?

PowerDMARC has strived to maintain a highly regulated environment within the organization to ensure that our security controls are at par with the latest industry trends and practices. While this requires timely updations and commitment on the part of every employee, we make no compromises when it comes to our customer’s data.

The SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 certifications is a confirmation of our rock-solid foundation when it comes to maintaining the confidentiality of our clients, resellers, and 200+ global MSP/MSSP partners.

SOC 2 Type 1 Vs SOC 2 Type 2

SOC 2 Type 1 Vs SOC 2 Type 2

The main difference between SOC 2 Type 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 is that SOC 2 Type 1 looks at a specific point in time and provides recommendations on what can be done to improve a security program. It does not provide any evidence-based reports on how effective those recommendations are likely to be in the long run.

SOC 2 Type 2, on the other hand, looks at an organization’s security procedures over time and analyzes them based on their effectiveness. It then provides recommendations on how to improve these procedures in order to make them more effective over time. It is a detailed and rigorous risk assessment report that scans operations for six months to determine how effective security controls are at preventing or detecting attacks.

SOC 2 TYPE 1 CERTIFICATION 1

What do the SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 certifications mean for our customers?

Being SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 certified signifies that the PowerDMARC platform is safe for hoarding sensitive information of our clients. It is an assurance of the highest level that the security protocols and processes practiced by our internal systems are strong enough to prevent data leakage and information compromise.

This is an essential step to establish a sense of mutual understanding that reinforces our goal towards achieving the highest level of compliance. It further is an affirmation that we incorporate adequate efforts and investments to dynamically secure our systems.

How can you avail of our SOC 2 Report?
