2. Phishing and Social Engineering

Phishing attacks use manipulative tricks, often via email, to trick individuals into providing sensitive data (like login credentials or financial details), clicking malicious links, downloading harmful attachments, or taking other damaging steps. To avoid falling victim to phishing and social engineering: be wary of emails from unknown senders or those requesting personal information; always double-check the sender’s email address for legitimacy and the URL of any links before clicking or entering credentials; never click suspicious links or download unexpected attachments; look for unusual requests or tones. Implementing email authentication protocols like DMARC, SPF, and DKIM helps verify sender identity and protect against domain spoofing used in many phishing attacks.

3. Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Attacks
